Vanessa Morgan

Vanessa Morgan began her study and practice of Natural Medicine 40 years ago and holds degrees in Medical Herbalism, Chinese Medicine and Homeopathy from Greenvale Herbal College, Vancouver BC Canada, Oriental Medical Institute, Honolulu, Hi. and The British Institute of Homeopathy. She helped to organize the Durango Acupuncture Alliance in the Spring of 2012 to create the Durango Veteran’s Acupuncture Clinic as a way to support Veteran’s and their families in our community. Her current focus is on establishing the Blackbird Foundation that will provide Veterans, active military and family more extensive natural health care.

Danielle received her training at Five Branches University in Santa Cruz, California. During her program she obtained advanced medical specialties in 5 Element Acupuncture and Tuina (Chinese Orthopedic) Massage.  She later completed the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) training as a certified specialist in programs for addiction and trauma.  Danielle now specializes in the treatment of Stress and Pain Management, Emotional Balancing, Women’s Health and Detox Acupuncture for Addiction.

Julie graduated with a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from one of the top Oriental medicine schools in the country, Southwest Acupuncture College.  Additionally, Julie completed a one year advanced study clinical internship in Oriental medicine.  Prior to moving to Durango in 2010 Julie had a private practice in Boulder and Nederland, CO.  Originally from Argentina, Julie uses her Spanish to accommodate the Latino community.  Julie enjoys treating a variety of healthcare conditions including women’s health, fertility, digestive issues, allergies, respiratory disorders, sleep issues, emotional issues and pain conditions.

Carla Marie received her Master Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Santa Barbara College or Oriental Medicine.  Prior to finding her passion in this field, she earned her BS in Biology with an emphasis in Ecology from San Diego State University.  She uses a correlation between the scientific theories of Ecology and the healing art of Oriental Medicine – seeing the body similar to an ecosystem with the energy channels and organs as micro-systems – getting the whole system into balance to build and maintain health.  Carla Marie introduced Community Acupuncture to Durango, Colorado when she came across a website introducing it to the mainstream and thought “This is what Durango really needs.”

Christl is a graduate of Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM with a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine. Christl has been a licensed acupuncturist in Colorado since 2002.  Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Christl completed a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, and worked for 18 years as a psychotherapist.

Caleb graduated from The Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2000.  He has been serving Durango, CO for the last 11 years. Caleb is passionate about addressing your needs with care and dedication.  And is also inspired for you to experience a well, vital and thriving life. He specializes in pain and injury care, allergies, digestion, metabolism, stress and anxiety issues.

Caleb also operates Advanced Allergy Relief Center of the Southwest. He uses a special technique called Advanced Allergy Therapeutics to work with people to relieve their allergies.  This is a long term solution that is needle-free and medication free. He enjoys practicing  Tai Chi Chuan and the Egoscue Method.
