Monday Community Wellness Clinic:

We proudly offer members of our community affordable Community Style Acupuncture.

We ask for a sliding scale payment of $5-$20 for each individual.

These payments help cover the minimal expenses of the Durango Acupuncture Alliance. As an alliance, we strive to educate the public about the many benefits of Chinese medicine, we support acupuncture projects across Colorado and we support Veterans projects locally and regionally.

Treatments are based on the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) 5 needle protocol which has been proven to be extremely effective in alleviating symptoms of stress and trauma.

During the treatment people sit in a circle of chairs while 5 tiny needles are placed on each ear. The beauty of this protocol is that it is simple and effective and does not require the patient to be interviewed, which eliminates disclosure issues.

It allows a whole body, mind and spirit treatment that allows for the process of recovery to occur in the individuals’ own way. The group setting encourages the community of shared experience where safety and positive relationships can be created.

This clinic is open to the PUBLIC
